Donna Leigh was originally created for the seasonal AW 2015 collection and inspired by the design aesthetic of illustrator William Kilburn. During this period Kilburn designed many designs for muslin, often with dark rich grounds and contrasting flowers. In keeping with his style, flowers were hand painted with watercolour and a dark ground was added later.
